High Efficacy COB LED Strip Light: 120–140 lm/W with CRI 90+
More Lumens per Watt for Professional Linear Lighting
Our high efficacy COB LED strip light delivers 120–140 lm/W and keeps CRI above 90. You get the light output your project needs with lower power draw, and you don’t give up color quality.
The series is built for specifiers, lighting engineers, and procurement teams working on commercial and architectural projects. It is available on 8 mm and 10 mm PCBs, with DC 12 V or DC 24 V input. It fits common aluminum profiles for displays, coves, shelving, task lighting, and recessed linear lighting.
Available Models
| LED Density | PCB Width | Voltage | Power | Efficacy | Cut Length |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 480 chips/m | 8 mm | DC 12 V / 24 V | 9 W/m | 120–140 lm/W | 25 / 50 mm |
| 480 chips/m | 10 mm | DC 12 V / 24 V | 12 W/m | 120–140 lm/W | 25 / 50 mm |
- Color temperatures: 2700 K, 3000 K, 4000 K, 6000 K
- Color rendering: CRI > 90
- Efficacy values apply to this dedicated high efficacy series only. Confirm the cut length for your selected voltage before ordering.
Key Benefits
Up to 140 lm/W Efficacy
Reach your target lux levels with less power. Higher efficacy lowers operating costs over the life of the installation and can reduce the power-supply capacity a project needs.
CRI 90+ Color Rendering
Products, finishes, and skin tones look natural and accurate. This makes the strip a strong fit for retail, hospitality, residential, and display projects where color quality matters.
8 mm and 10 mm PCB Options
Both widths fit widely used aluminum profiles, so you can specify the strip with standard channels instead of custom extrusions. This keeps sourcing and design work simple.
9 W/m and 12 W/m Power Levels
Match light output to your brightness target instead of over-specifying. Use the lower level for accent and ambient lighting, or the higher level where a space needs more output.
DC 12 V and DC 24 V Input
Choose 12 V for short runs and existing 12 V systems. Choose 24 V for longer runs with less voltage drop, which helps keep brightness consistent from end to end.
Four Color Temperatures
Use 2700 K and 3000 K for warm hospitality and residential spaces, 4000 K for retail and offices, and 6000 K for task and display lighting. One series covers a wide range of projects.
Dot-Free COB Output
The continuous COB chip layout produces an even line of light with no visible hotspots. The result looks clean and uniform, even in shallow profiles.
Short Cut Intervals for a Precise Fit
Cut points every 25 mm or 50 mm, depending on voltage, let you trim the strip to fit coves, shelves, and cabinets accurately. Confirm the cut length for your selected voltage before ordering.
Typical Applications
- Retail shelving and merchandise displays
- Showcases and display cabinets
- Cove and indirect ceiling lighting
- Under-cabinet and task lighting
- Profile-mounted linear lighting in offices and commercial interiors
- Hospitality and residential accent lighting
Best for: Projects where energy use, color quality, and uniform linear light all matter.
Not intended for: Applications that need RGB or tunable white output. For those, see our other COB LED strip series.
How to Select the Correct Model
Choose the 8 mm, 9 W/m version when:
- Profile space is limited
- Energy use is the main priority
- The application needs moderate output, such as shelving, display cases, or accent coves
Choose the 10 mm, 12 W/m version when:
- The project needs higher light output
- The profile can take a 10 mm strip
- The strip is the main light source for task lighting or general linear lighting
Estimated Output per Meter
Calculated from rated power × efficacy.
| Model | Estimated Output |
|---|---|
| 8 mm, 9 W/m | approx. 1,080–1,260 lm/m |
| 10 mm, 12 W/m | approx. 1,440–1,680 lm/m |
Actual output varies with color temperature, thermal conditions, diffuser, and power supply.
For Long Runs
Check these points before you finalize the specification.
- Confirm the maximum recommended feed length for your chosen voltage.
- Size the cable for the total load and run length.
- Specify a power supply with suitable headroom above the total wattage.
- Mount the strip in an aluminum profile for heat dissipation and stable long-term performance.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does 140 lm/W apply to every COB LED strip model?
No. The 120–140 lm/W rating applies only to this high efficacy series. Our other white-light COB series range from 60 lm/W to 120 lm/W.
Is high efficacy the same as high brightness?
Not exactly. Efficacy measures how many lumens the strip produces per watt. Total brightness also depends on strip power, installed length, thermal conditions, optics, and the power supply.
A high efficacy strip gives you more light for the same energy input.
Can I order a specific color temperature?
Yes. The series is available in four color temperatures:
- 2700 K
- 3000 K
- 4000 K
- 6000 K
Confirm availability and color tolerance for your selected model before you place an order.
